Ted Cogswell Jr. a visionary, former owner, mentor, and friend to so many in and around our community. Ted’s remarkable spirit and energy inspired us all. His dedication to service to his country as an Air Force pilot and subsequent return to his home town in 1958 to join his father at the Cogswell Insurance Agency was proven to be two-fold when he also joined the Montana Air National Guard to fly the F-89, F-102 and F-106 fighter jets. Within a short time, he and his father built what would become the largest privately-owned insurance agency in Montana. Several years after becoming company president, Ted was named President of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.
